Getting outside in OKC metro

Golf with family or friends

Kickingbird Golf Course

The oldest golf course in Edmond, OK has a fresh new look complete with a restaurant brought to us by the same company who has The Mule and The Press in the Plaza District. This upgraded course and event center features great views and patios for the community to enjoy weather golf is your thing or you are just interested in a bite to eat with friends.

Topgolf

This family friendly activity can be a great way to spend some time outdoors while still having cover incase of rain. Tuesday’s are half off game play, so don’t forget to put it in your calendar!

Go for a hike

Bluff Creek Loop

A local 1.2mile loop is a nice easy walk for the whole family. The close parking and mellow paved trail makes this an easy way to get out and enjoy nature. Located just north of Lake Hefner parking lot entrance is off Meridian.

Overholser Trail

This lakeside trail is 3.2 miles in length and runs from NW 39th Street and Overholser Drive along the east side of Lake Overholser to Overholser Park at NW 10th Street. A wonderful place to see the wildlife of the lake and enjoy a gentle stroll or an invigorating power walk.
