| Happening This Week in OKC (Dec. 2–8) Holiday season is in full swing, and Oklahoma City has a packed week of markets, parades and standout entertainment. What’s happening: SPARKLE Holiday Market — Fri., Dec. 5, 5:30–9:30 p.m., The Promenade, Upper Park Local vendors, handmade gifts and warm drinks in a festive outdoor setting. Additional markets on Dec. 12 and 19. Cowboy Christmas Parade — Sat., Dec. 6, 10 a.m., Stockyards City Longhorns lead the annual parade featuring equestrian groups, bands, antique cars and Cowboy Santa. Oklahoma artist Pake McEntire serves as Grand Marshal. Photos with Cowboy Santa follow at Rodeo Cinema. Holiday Pop-Up Shops — Fri.–Sun. through Dec. 21, Midtown (10th & Hudson) A rotating lineup of local makers, seasonal treats, Katiebug’s Hot Chocolate, the Big Friendly Beer Bus and the Bishop John Carroll tree lot. Open 10 a.m.–8 p.m. Fri–Sat and 10 a.m.–6 p.m. Sun. Ali Wong: Work in Progress — Dec. 2–3, 6 p.m. & 8:30 p.m., Bricktown Comedy Club A rare small-room set from Ali Wong testing new material. Shows are 18+, seats only guaranteed until showtime and a two-item minimum applies.
