Water donation update

I wanted to share a quick update and thank everyone who donated. We were able to deliver 20 cases of water to Station 34 last night, made possible through your generous donations and financial contributions. The team was very thankful that we care about them and are there to support them. They were also disappointed that we could not hold our event this year, as it has always been one of their favorite events, but we told them that perhaps we can bring it back next year. Thank you again for your kindness, generosity, and support!

Water Donations Extended to Monday afternoon

We’ve only received one additional bag of bottled water for Station 34 so far. Harvest Hills South in the past has donated cases of water. We’re going to hold off until Monday afternoon in hopes that more of our 400 homeowners here in Harvest Hills South will step up to support our local firefighters. These are the people who show up for us without hesitation — whether it’s a house fire, a medical emergency, or a moment when seconds truly matter.

Let’s show them that same level of care. Even a single case of water is a small gesture that means a great deal to the men and women who protect our neighborhood every day.

You can purchase 40 bottles of water at Sam’s Club for $4.28.

Can we count on you???

First Electronic Newsletter for September

Hello neighbors,

In light of diminished funding, we are starting to distribute this newsletter via email.

We welcome any comments or suggestions you may have about ways to improve the neighborhood. We have already begun compiling a list of items that need attention and hope to address some of them in the near future. However, we will need your help, both financially and through volunteer support, to make meaningful progress.

Thank you for your interest and support for Harvest Hills South Neighborhood Association.

Water Donations for Fire Department

Even though Harvest Hills South was unable to have our annual Neighbors Nite Out, we are still collecting water for Station 34 Fire Department. This has been a hard summer for them, and we have always help support them, so please support them now as well.

Donations are being collected at 8204 NW 79th St. If you are unable to bring them up to the door, let me know and I will come get them from your car or if you need me to pick up from your home. please email me and let me know.

I would really like to be able to make a large delivery donation at the end of the week to them.

Labor Day

Labor Day is the day our nation pauses to recognize and honor the hard work that keeps communities thriving. It’s a celebration of every worker’s dedication and contributions — much like how we in Harvest Hills South appreciate the neighbors who continually invest their time and effort to keep our neighborhood safe, welcoming, and a wonderful place to call home.
