Food Trucks & Prizes For Neighbors Night Out

Food trucks serving Ice Cream, Tacos and Burgers

It’s that time of year again, summer is coming to a close and the kids are preparing for the first day of schools. Please use caution while driving our streets, as children walk our roads to and from school each day.

Our local YMCA is hosting a back to school event and is still in need of supplies. If you or someone you know is interested in donating supplies or funding to help the less fortunate in our community please reach out to the Rockwell Plaza YMCA.

Our Garage Sale had a great turn out!

We would like to say thank you to all those people who donated to our sale and a special thanks to those who worked in some really warm weather. With $1144 on the first day and nearly $700 on the second we are happy to have received such an outpouring of donations from our neighborhood.
This funding is a step towards more improvements at the entrances and we will continue to work towards the beautification of all 3 signs with our Dream Big Plan.

Harvest Hills South Neighborhood garage sale is happening soon Join us by hosting your own garage sale or donate items to the neighborhood fundraiser garage sale.

Did you know Father’s Day did not become a national holiday until 1972?
The first known Father’s Day service occurred in Fairmont, West Virginia on July 5, 1908 after hundreds of men died in the worst mining accident in US history. Grace Golden Clayton, the daughter of a dedicated minister, proposed a service to honor all fathers, especially those who had died. Very few people outside of the local area knew about it.
