Oklahoma Wind Festival

Blustery days create great energy to power kites, paper airplanes, bottle rockets, pinwheels, wind chimes, sailboats and more. Join us to celebrate the marvels of wind and motion, compliments of Mother Nature!

Bring your own kites or purchase one at the event (limited supplies available) to join in the fun!

This event is free and open to the public.

The first 250 people will receive a complimentary kite.

OKC’s Spring Catfish Round Up with OKC Parks Fishing with Oklahoma City Parks & Recreation Saturday, April 2 | 9 – 11am Scissortail Lake – near Union Station   Guests will be allowed to fish and visit the booths at their own discretion. While event is being held, guests will not need a state fishing license or city fishing permit. Rods, reels, and bait will be provided.   Free to attend Registration Required
Schedule a FREE golf cart tour to see the daffodils on the Silver Flyer! The Silver Flyer provides access for guests with limited mobility to see Scissortail Park.   The free, 20-minute tours begin at Union Station. Book a free tour today at the link below. Daffodil Walking Tours Friday, April 1 & Saturday, April 2   You are invited to take a walking tour with our exceptional Horticulture team to see our stunning daffodil fields.   Stroll the grounds to see the 150,000 blossoming flowers and learn about the different narcissus varieties featured at Scissortail Park.   Tours available: Friday, April 1 | 10am & 2pm Saturday, April 2 | 10am & 2pm

Scissortail Walking Club Returns March 31! Thursdays | 9am | Scissortail Boathouse   Meet fellow walkers at the Scissortail Boathouse (650 South Hudson) each Thursday to enjoy a scenic morning stroll through the Park.   FREE and open to all, including dogs on leashes. Participants walk at their own pace.   Sign up and join us!
