At this event we were joined by MSgt Skalla to discuss home security and ways we can keep our area crime free. If you were unable to attend we are sad you missed such a great speaker but we will be sending out some of the tips right here in the blog very soon so keep your eyes peeled as we move into the higher crime time of year.

As temps rise the petty crime rates rise and so it is up to all of us to find ways to deter crime through things like Environmental design as well as making sure we have an active crime watch patrol who is trained through the OKCPD. These classes are free and help educate our crime patrol on procedures as well as to build a relationship with the community police to be the eyes and ears of law enforcement.
